My Story
My journey into nutrition first began at Russell Sage College where I received a BS in Nutrition Science. I then attended Sage Graduate School for my dietetic internship and MS in Applied Nutrition. I am proud to be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), which means I have met the educational requirements, completed an extensive supervised program of practice, and passed a nationally recognized exam. I have previously worked with the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, hospital, and outpatient settings.
Since becoming a RDN I have focused my practice on pediatrics, weight management, enteral feeding management (tube feedings), selective eating (picky eating), heart disease, and diabetes.
I am passionate about using food to heal our bodies. I do not believe there is one diet or way of eating that works for every person. I firmly believe in a simple approach using easy to prepare, nourishing foods and a lifestyle that brings you joy.
In my free time you will find me at yoga class, out for a run, stand up paddle boarding, and reading all the latest nutrition research.
